We're happy to announce top-40.org latest release -
"Sounds and images from Crete" album - the second installment
in the series (the first one was top32, recorded in 2002).

As usual, on the release page you'll find the full story in
english and russian, short preview, two galleries with photos and, of
course, audio-files: 320 kbps
mp3.
You can download the whole release as a single zip-archive (340 Mb,
including the music and both galleries in high resolution), or you can
follow the link to the archive.org page, where you can download each
track and two zip-files with galleries separately. Also, both galleries
are available for browsing online.
With this album you'll be acoustically teleported to the sunny Greek
island Crete, where we spent an unforgettable week in the summer of
2008. We tried really hard not only to make a report from our trip, but
to reproduce the atmosphere of the amazing places, where we've been.

We don't have a chance to include everything we want in one album, so
en extra recording with lovely sounds of breaking waves is available as
a separate release “Ordinary sounds of the sea” at Quietzone
netlabel (quietzone.in)
alongside with a DVD, filmed during this journey. Watching the
beautiful seascapes with Quietzone music will relax and calm down your
mind, which is utterly important in our hard times.
So many words about this record are left unsaid, but what more can we
say? Open your ears, and you will have your own personal and fantastic
journey to Crete - the best way to spend a winter evening ever.

This summer top-40.org crew made a few amazing trips. As a result of our journey to Crete island the second album in the “Sounds and images from...” series (the 1st was top32) is going to be released very soon – keep an eye out for recent updates.
Also, we spent some time in Chicago, USA in August, where we finally have a chance to meet in person our long-time friend, collaborator and musical colleague Michael Hartman. He's a well-known experimental sound artist, both as a solo act and as a member of TV Pow group, the founder of now defunct Gentle Giant Records and together with his wife Junko Okada (DJ JunkRoc) he runs Kuro Neko Music label. We strongly recommend to check out his site for tons of great mp3's and albums with weird electronics 'n Shit. We were happy to shake his hand and spend some great time together.

He' художник A.S. известный экспириментально ядровый, оба как сольный поступок и как член группы Pow TV, основатель теперь несуществующих нежных показателей гиганта и вместе с его супругой Junko Okada (DJ JunkRoc) он бежит ярлык нот Kuro Neko. Мы сильно рекомендуем заканчивали связь его место для тонн большого mp3' s и альбомы с странный электроникой ' дерьмо n. Мы были счастливы сотрясать его руку и потратить некоторое большое время совместно. Пребывание настроило, некоторое чудесное новое и свежее вещество top-40.org приходя действительно скоро…

ROZA - GLitch ov Batumi
Artur, who stays behind ROZA project, hails from Kharkiv, Ukraine, but nowadays he lives in Poland. All his music sounds, according to him, in a russian-kosmicshamanhypnocontactee style. Hell of a description, but it suits ROZA's tracks very well.
What we really like about the album is that it's almost impossible to characterize it in a matter of specific musical genre or style. This is the music which can be depicted in such terms as “good” or “attractive”, or “visionary” or “surreal” but not “rock”, “hip-hop”, “glitch”, “negerpunk” or whatever is usually on your iPod/Winamp.
“GLitch ov Batumi” is definitely one of the best albums we received this year and we're really happy and proud to share this music with you – we really hope it's not the latest piece from the wonderful ROZA project. And he already promised to send us more stuff. Let the beat contact your body...

We're happy to announce the long-awaited arrival of two releases at once. This dance pollution on top-40.org includes a debut EP "Night Theme" from the young Russian minimal techno necromancer Andrey Malshchukoff (aka A7) - some chunky minimalistic DJ-techno tracks, - and also wonderful rave-flavoured megahit Teddy Bear EP from mysterious German rave/house/techno Love parade legionnare from the early days of Cher and italo-disco.
We hope you will enjoy this mind-blowing ass-shaking hard-jumpin' sweaty hardcore dancing experience with this tracks and songs. And may the top-40.org be with you!
